While the life of a real medical examiner may not be as comic as episodes of “Quincy, M.E.” or as sexy as “Crossing Jordan,” autopsies and other post-mortem testing must be performed in a suitable place. That’s why Memphis-area pathologists are glad to finally see some progress in the construction of the new Shelby County Regional Forensic Center.
